The Three Fishes

‘The Three Fishes’  is  a simple story that is a favorite with the children. And so, was the natural choice when we were rooting about for a story that could be turned into a play for our forthcoming radio program.

Geetha has done a wonderful job of writing the script for this short play. But directing a cast that waxes and wanes,  reconciling the rolling accents of half the cast who go to English medium schools with the unformed accents of children from the Tamil medium schools has proved a large task. But Geetha has met the challenges head on, while sometimes stooping low to bribe the cast with Cadburys Dairy Milk chocs.

And yes, there  is a background score supplied by Shalom.

Recorders, we hope, will rollll on Wednesday.
